Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Changes

Premium Mode & Item Shop Fixes:

• Fixed gender change button so works properly now

• Fixed bug where names were generated based on your previous save’s birth country and not the country you selected

• Fixed bug where skin colors were being generated based on previous save’s birth country and not selected country

• Dropdown list for countries will be automatically set to your current character’s birth country (as opposed to it’s previous default Argentina)

• Character will not generate a new name/person if the country popup is opened and a different country is not selected

• Weekly shop items will no longer show duplicates

• Custom person will no longer be generated with glasses fixing babies wearing glasses

• Fixed a bug when starting a custom life while currently in a challenge

General Career Fixes:

• Text is now added to the timeline when you are rejected from a job, sport, or club.

• Promotions difficulty balancing has been adjusted

• Job performance will reset to an average between 45-65% after being promoted

• Fixed bug that caused bosses to wear same uniform as employees

• Fixed bug where you were fired from jobs for low performance on jobs you weren’t ever supposed to be fired from

• Fixed bug that didn’t show cheerleader outfits for college students 25+

Family/Birth Fixes:

• When your partner gives birth it will now properly say your wife or your girlfriend gave birth to your child in the timeline

• Grandparent event will now say your “Mother” or “Father” dragged you to visit family based on which family members are still alive

• Fixed bug that caused Spend Time with all to consume all energy as opposed to just 8

• Fixed bug in random event that caused pregnancy even if character was on birth control

• Fixed “Take to court” option when trying to divorce your husband/wife and they refuse

• Fixed pregnant daughter event, now has an effect on your relationship and daughter will have child the next year

• Fixed child bug where some children were given different first name last name order due to their birth countries being randomized instead of set to actual country they are born in

• Fixed bug where event would popup telling you that you are pregnant even if your partner is also female

Business Fixes:

• Fixed bug preventing players from finishing marketing campaigns early

• Changed business value from INT to LONG to support higher business values without overflow

• Changed stock amounts from INT to LONG to support higher stock share amounts without overflow

• Fixed bug that allowed you to own negative shares in a company

• Player’s stock will now increase or decrease based on the company’s performance

• Fixed bug that allowed you to buy and sell negative amounts of shares

• Fixed bug that allowed you to pay for inventory refills even if your stock was full

Person Interaction Fixes:

• Added back in code missing for allowances

• Increased the chat bubble and chat text size when having a conversation with an NPC

• Exes relationships are now decreased when you break up with them

• Fixed bug where getting back with a single ex put them all back in your relationship list

• Fixed bug where getting back with your ex caused your relationship list to disappear

• Fixed bug where spending time with your foster child had you meet that child’s parents

• Fixed bug that only allowed you to give allowance to your child when YOU were between 6 and 17 instead of when the child was between 6 and 17 as intended

• Make love interaction now will ask you if you want to engage in protected or unprotected sex

• Friends can no longer be assaulted but enemies now can

• Fixed bug where the facial hairstyle of another male character was later being attached to a male character who has no facial hairstyle

• Insulting your teacher or principal has a chance of sending you to the principal office

• Fixed bug where complimenting increased relationship stats whether it failed to impress or not

• Giving gifts will now give you more time-appropriate options

Music Industry Fixes:

• Going on world tour’s fame reward has been increased

University and School Fixes:

• Fixed bug that caused player to have an unusable degree if the player did not select a major

• Fixed bug that generated teachers and principals to have the Supervisor relationship with you and have options like “Ask For Promotion” and “Ask For Raise”

• Fixed Equality Club mistakenly named as a second Chess Club (fix meant to be in 1.0.3 but got overwritten)

• Players may not apply to Vet school unless they are at least 17 years old and either has their biology or chemistry degree

• Fixed school bully event bug that caused players to be unable to exit it

• Fixed bug that didn’t allow you to join med school even when you had a biology or chemistry degree

• Fixed bug that didn’t allow you to join vet school even when you had a biology or chemistry degree

• Fixed bug where students weren’t being properly generated when you joined a teacher’s job

Social Media Fixes:

• Fixed bug where photogram event said you lost more followers than you have

• VideoTube (2005), Photogram (2010), and Woofer (2006) will now be inaccessible until after the years they were started/invented

Other Activities Fixes:

• Purchasing houses now costs money, may also apply for mortgage

• Murder activity fails if player’s athleticism is less than the character that they are trying to murder’s

• Added an age limit on which characters you can murder (at least 14+)

• Fixed bug when painting and no option was selected it was always choosing “Hand Turkey”

• Fixed bug when asking a loan shark for a negative amount

• Spend time action has limited certain actions or locations based on the years they were invented (playing video games, karaoke bars, arcades etc.)

• Vacation now properly charges you money and adds a bonus to your happiness

• Fixed error when going to the doctor with no parents

Challenge Mode Fixes:

• Darkened the Zombie Challenge background to make reading text easier

Saving/Loading Fixes:

• Fixed bug where players could continue playing on challenge mode saves after it was deleted

• Fixed bug where if a player deleted its current save the screen would go blank

• Fixed error that occurred when you deleted current save and there were no other saves available to switch to

Misc Fixes:

• Fixed error in Cheating Event when your first partner is either a Fiancee or Husband/Wife

• Attempt escape for Orphanage has been properly implemented

• Fixed bug where you lost health if you were an orphan, should now properly work only when homeless and not in an orphanage

• Property profile now shows houses cleanliness and condition values

• Fixed teacher flirting event result that says you are given $500 for your silence, the event will now actually give you that money

• Fixed bug where when players returned from profile page the relationship bars went missing

• Fixed bug where players could talk to their dead friends/family when returning from a character’s profile

• Fixed bug that caused Stress levels and work hours to disappear when returning from career profile

• Fixed bug if player was really lucky and health conscious they can skip the event to kill at age 120 and live forever

• Fixed bug where when certain countries (some missing cities) would cause errors if they were in war or if you were born in those countries

• Countries missing tax income have been added

• Fixed bug that allowed certain actions to (like Ask Out) during circumstances in which they were supposed to be disallowed

• Funeral services and cremation will now charge you money

• Polygamy marriages allowed now in countries where it isn’t illegal

• Pet breeding is now allowed between different breeds of the same species

• Fixed bug where sleeves and other clothing parts were set to the wrong rotation

• Fixed bug where character generation was picking ethnicities of the country you live in rather than the country the character is born (usually are the same but issue was very apparent in custom character creator)

• First words event has been changed into a popup event that allows you to select your first words
