Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Changes

Family/Birth Fixes:

• Fixed grandparent event bug where grandparents only generated as two men

• Fixed bug where unmodified settings caused NPC’s to not age

• Fixed bug where having multiple babies in the same season/year only allowed you to pick the name of one child

• Fixed bug where having a child as a male results in a popup that tells you “You gave birth to your new child”

• Childbirth popup now tells you who the mother of your child is.

• “Mother died during childbirth” start now adds mother to graveyard

• Fixed bug where loading back in after having grandparents caused friendship list to disappear

• Fixed bug where loading back in after having grandparents prevented player from loading season events

Business Fixes:

• Buying marketing campaigns now properly closes popup

• Marketing campaigns now increase business performance

• Business value increases yearly based on business performance

• Fixed bug preventing more than one employee from being displayed

• Business value no longer increases if inventory has been depleted

• Inventory refill cost has been significantly reduced

• Player may now collect dividend from season’s profits

• Business Management page now shows last business profits and employee costs

Music Industry Fixes:

• Fixed bug preventing you from releasing albums

• Fixed bug preventing you from releasing self-published music

• Player now has to send audition tape to record labels in order to be a solo artist. Acceptance based on instrument skills.

• Player is given option to start a new band or join a band already signed to a record label.

• Player must now be at least 13 years old to join the music industry

• Player may not self publish if they are already under contract of music label (either in band or solo)

Doctor Fixes:

• Therapist visits now show proper visit cost in popup menu

• Therapist happiness boost improved

Shopping Fixes:

• Renting an apartment now brings up a popup menu telling you rent price before you confirm to rent

• Lottery winnings and ticket costs now adjusted to country’s currency value

• Winning the lottery now actually gives you your winnings if you win… woops!

Person Interaction Fixes:

• Declaring enemy LUA error fixed

• Enemies now shown in relationship list

• Fixed a bug in person profiles that would only show the player’s name for NPC’s

• Added an age check for the “Ask Out” action; An adult can no longer ask out a minor, and if both are minors they have to be at least within a 2 year age difference.

• Complimenting given happiness and charisma boosts; now has a fail state

• Proposing now has fail state and engagement rings now cost you

• Teachers can now be pranked

• Classmates will now graduate from Elementary, Middle School, and High school depending on age (No more adult elementary students)

Social Media Fixes:

• Fixed a bug preventing users from posting a woof post

• Buying followers from woofer no longer adds to VideoTube subscribers

• Fixed a bug where being monetized prevented player from doing collabs

Saving/Loading Fixes:

• Fixed bug where country data was being saved into a separate save file

• Fixed loading larger text setting, application will now load with larger text

• Deleting the current save will now send you back to timeline (to make it more clear to the player that another available save was loaded in it’s place)

• Fixed a bug where starting a new life kept you in debt from previous characters’ loans

• Fixed a bug where loading between a Challenge Mode save file and a regular save file corrupted one of the saves

• Fixed a bug where trying to create a new life from a Challenge Mode save file it loaded a previous save file and silently added a new save file

University and School Fixes:

• Fixed bug where yearly aging setting increased the duration of University

• Fixed “Further education” button

• Fixed bug disallowing players to join university if they took a student loan after parents refuse to pay tuition

• Fixed bug where players who joined the university via student loan had their degree major not set or saved

• Players are now told they already have their degree when trying to apply to university after already completed

• Fixed a bug where the “Troublemaking Classmate” popped up when not in school, breaking button options

• Fixed bug where yearly age setting increased the duration of Medical, Law, and Veterinarian schools

• Fixed bug where graduating from school left you still in the clubs and sports of that school

• Fixed practicing messages for Debate Team and Glee Club

• Fixed bug where rejecting an invitation to the prom still added them as your significant other

• Failing to rob a bank now results in losing a year (Current way of handling prison until full prison update comes)

• Aging yearly will now only show the years in timeline

• Aging yearly now shows proper age (previously lagged behind by one year)

• Career actions now deplete energy

• Increased maximum bank amount from 2,147,483,647 to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 by changing value from int to long

• Income now calculated properly when aged yearly

• Fixed bug where yearly aging setting increased the duration of pregnancy

• Players now start with randomized romance and relationship when matching with someone on a dating app
